Kobs vs Mongers, Legends Rugby Grounds at 2:30pm

Kobs are home for their second Premiership encounter this new season after thrashing Gulu Elephants in Gulu  67-07 for a much-expected result.

The Legends’ based side host Entebbe’s Mongers, a painful thorn quite hard to remove – whenever they meet.

Kobs have been known for going unbeaten for large spells until they meet arch rivals Heathens, however, Mongers present a sizable threat as well.

They won their first match of the season, defeating Buffaloes 07-35 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds and it was their second win in five matches against the same opposition.

Mongers did not impress in line outs but scratched home easily courtesy of prefect maul and ruck movements.

Adrian Wasswa and John Wandicho proved decisive and could return with clear intentions of hurting Kobs in their own backyard.

The home side nevertheless – is not expected to play second fiddle. Kicker James Ijiongat is back, Brian Odongo and sensation Joseph Aredo hope to grace the turf.

Injured Victor Wadia and captain Oscar Kalyango will still be missed, as both continue recovery from injuries.

The batlle will as well go down to the coaching staff as Kobs’ Miliko Morlin tries to outplay Mongers’ Ben Ssebalamu.

Kobs won both matches they played against Mongers last season.

Mongers last defeated Kobs at the start of the 2014/2015 Rugby Premiership season.

Mongers have lost three and won one match against Kobs since the 2014/2015 Rugby Premiership season.
