Uganda Falls in latest FIFA rankings

Uganda has fallen in the latest Coca Cola FIFA rankings and now are ranked 88th in the world falling six points to their current position. Uganda had earlier dropped to 82nd the previous rankings and have dropped further.

Uganda’s fall is due to their scoreless draw with Kenya’s Harambee stars and failure to qualify for the Orange Africa Cup of Nations next year in Equatorial Guinea/Gabon.

The October edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking was largely shaped by the qualifying matches for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil and various continental championships. Rwanda is ranked 112 in the world. Tanzania is ranked 131 and has dropped four places to its current position while Kenya is 135 in the world and also have dropped four places.

The next rankings will be released again on November 23. Let us know what you think we should do to improve rankings for Uganda and other East African Teams.
