Due to many commitments and obligations as FUFA vice president in charge of the league, Mujiib Kasule hasn’t had enough concentration on the touchline as Proline FC headcoach. As the end of the first round of the 2011/2012 season draws closer, his boots have been filled by Abdallah Mubiru.
Proline FC and Mubiru came to terms on first a 6 month agreement and will later have a 2 year deal for a reportedly undisclosed fee. Proline currently lie in the 6th position in the Bell Uganda Super League table with on 18 out of the possible 42 points, sandwiched between 5th placed Maroons and 7th placed Water FC. Mubiru is also Paul Nkata’s assistant on the U20 national side. He has been a coach of his and Mujiib’s former school, Kibuli SS. Despite quitting the club’s touchline, Kasule remains an administrator at Proline.
