Masaka L.C Coach Kefa kisala has set his target at a top four finish in the Bell Uganda super league. The club currently lie 5th on the table with 24 points but the calm, soft spoken coach Kisala says he wants to climb up the table.’
‘When i joined the team at the beginning of this season, my aim was to ensure that we finish above the position we managed last season which am sure we are doing”, said Kisala. ”We set a goal that in every 4 matches, we pick 7 points and that makes it 49 at the end of the mandatory 28 rounds of the league. We did manage 21 points in the first round and aim at at 28 in the second round to perfect our goal”, he added.
In ensuring so, the club have signed Ssenabulya David, Ssekitoleko and Andrew Kiweewa – all from Masaka based lower division sides, Matovu Yasin (KCC), Matovu Bruhan and Mustafa hamza (Baza). A statement from the club also shows that the club has let go of under performing players and these are Kato Hussein, Midfielder Kigongo Baker, Habuba Soca, Walusimbi Augustine, Odeke Charles (AWOL) and Malidad Said Bukenya ( Victoria University)
