Struggling KCC football club returns to action in the Bell Lager Uganda Super League tomorrow afternoon in a tricky encounter against Prison side Maroons FC at Mutesa II stadium,Wankulukuku.
The side is reeling from a bad run that has seen them being eliminated from the Bell Lager Kakungulu Cup by the side they will be hosting tomorrow. Last week they fell to Water FC 2-1 in a game that they failed to dominate.
“The delay in appointing a new team to manage the club is having effects on the club’s performance in the league,” Tom Lwanga, the clubs prinicipal sports officier said. “The club will soon announce a new team and we hope that once its in place we shall improve.”
Maroons where last week shocked by new entrants Hoima/Busia 2-3 at their home ground in Luzira they currently lie fifth in the league with 20 points while KCC is ninth with 17 points.
At Mandela stadium Police FC will host Hoima/Busia FC while Water FC takes on FireMasters FC at Luzira prison ground.
