DMark Power are Favourites

DMark Power clinched their fifth title last year after beating Kyambogo Warriors for a second season running in a thrilling final. This came after losing to Warriors in both games of the regular season

In the off season Power have not conducted much business as far as their roster is concerned in preparation for this season set to tip-off on March 24. Their veteran guard and two time back to back

champion with Power and Marines, Boniface Okello moved to UCU Canons and was replaced by Collin Mukiza acquired from last season’s playoff debutants Miracle Eagles.

In their two year sponsorship package to Power, DMark Mobile included a 10 million winning bonus as they push the basketball club to semi-professinalism. This is motivation for the defending champions to go all the way.

The high court man-to-man defense used by Power is difficult to break and backed by a plethora of backcourt scorers in former MVP Ben Komakech, Enabu brothers (Jimmy and Emma) and recently acquired Collin Mukiza, the back to back champions look good for a third straight. Power also have a high-octane frontcourt in the two big men, Micheal Kojjo and MVP Isaac Afidra as well as Joseph Ikong and Isaac Lugudde off the bench.
