Bell USL Match Preview: URA vs Express

URA FC HOST EXPRESS FC IN TOP OF THE TABLE CLASH. KICK OFF: 3PM – LUGAZI.

Fireworks is expected this afternoon at Lugazi Municipal Stadium when league champions URA FC host table leading Express FC.

The two sides settled for a 2-2 draw in the first leg two weeks ago at Wankulukuku despite Express FC being the better side for much of the game.

A win for Express FC will extend their lead at the top by seven points over the tax men. The Red eagles currently have 42 points 4 ahead of second placed URA FC. URA FC have never lost a competitive game at Lugazi and will be looking to maintain that record.

URA FC TEAM NEWS:

Coach Alex Isabirye has no injury worries ahead of the tie after team captain Manko Kawesa made a return to first team in the 3-1 win of SC.Villa in the abandoned Bell Uganda Cup on Tuesday. Sam Ssenkomi is expected to return to the side replacing Ssempiira Phillip who started at the heart of defence against Villa. Oscar Agaba may also return and dislodge Said Kyeyune who had a bad day against Villa on Tuesday. Besides, the team is not expected to have many changes.

Probable XI: Owiny, Masaba, Mubiru, Ssenkomi, Ssegawa, Manko (cpt), Agaba, Nsumba, Feni, Ssentongo and Kayizzi.

MAN TO WATCH: FENI MOSES has scored two goals in his two previous games. His game reading, ball control and ability to shoot on target must wary Express FC.

EXPRESS FC TEAM NEWS:

Coach Sam Ssimbwa is confident ahead of the clash. He has no injury worries ahead of the tie and is expected to have Hashim Ssempala back into the squad.

Probable XI. Jamal, Kavulu, Katongole, Kasozi, Kazibwe, Yayo, Kavuma (cpt), Ssempala, Baingana, Obua and Ssekisambu.

MAN TO WATCH: Erias Ssekisambu masterminded the 2 all draw in the first leg and then scored the only goal against Hoima-Busia on Tuesday. He has scored four goals in his five previous games. URA FC rear guard must be alert.

PREDICTION: Top of the table clashes rarely live to their billing but expect goals to flow at Lugazi. The hosts have home advantage and experience over the visitors but the latter are more hungry for results. Express must maintain a high tempo game if they are to get a result at Lugazi. In the end, i see a score draw.
