Goals galore as Corporate League enters week two

Goals, Goals, Goals was the order of the day as the Corporate league entered its second week of action at Kyadondo rugby ground on Sunday with several mouth watering games.

DFCU group crushed Parliament 5-0 in one of the high scoring games played on the day. Orient Bank registered a similar score line over Kampala Capital City

Authority while Bro Group brushed Vision group 4-0.

But the league also had several teams receiving walk overs. The Corporate league that is celebrating ten year’s since its inception has over 30 corporate companies playing a football league together with other sports that include netball, basketball,swimming, bowling and volleyball.

The next fixtures will see the various teams playing basketball,netball,volleyball and soccer at Makerere University Business School, Nakawa in the last weekend of next month.

The overall winners of the league are Quality Chemicals while Roofings are the men’s soccer champions.
