SC.Villa has come out with an official statement on the two fans that were arrested last evening as they tried to disrupt training.

The arrested fans are Samson Nsubuga a.k.a Miracle and Medi Ssembajja a.k.a Katanyonta. In a press conference held at Rwenzori Courts this morning, Villa President Fred Muwema said “the two have continuously perpetuated crowd violence and threaten training at Villa Park training grounds.
They have taken on the habit of physically attacking the coaching staff and players, at times with abusive language”.

The two are held at Nsambya police station under Ref SID 30/20/05/12 on various criminal charges. It should be noted that the duo were planning to disrupt yesterday’s friendly match at Villa Park but police swung in early to deny them chance. However, before that, they had already throwing insults at Coach Mike Mutebi who was trying to organize the side to face Bombo utd in a game that Villa won 8-0.

The other ring leaders are on the run but Club director of football has insisted the search to arrest them is on. He went on to confirm that these fans together with Sulaiman Sseguya who is on the run are banned from all Villa activities and whatever they do in the name of villa is not in line with the club.

A section of Villa fans are not happy with Mike Mutebi being the coach of their club as well as Kanaaba Joseph as the director of football saying the duo are mismanaging their club. They accuse them of being ardent KCC fans who don’t wish Villa anything good. SC.Villa are currently 7th in the league and already out of the Bell Uganda Cup something the fans call a disgrace to the most successful soccer team in the country.

Kawowo sports managed to visit Nsambya Police station but were given no opportunity to speak to the arrested duo. However, there were lots of Villa fans at the station planning how to help out their colleagues and vowed not to give up the passion for their club and one of the fans reiterated to kawowo sports that “Kanaaba is trying to send us away from Villa and get new fans who are the police to cheer our beloved club but he wont get away with it easily”. As usual, we shall keep you posted on all developments.
