Mbarara stars claimed the Chenga Challenge U-14 title over the weekend at the Mbarara University of Science and Technology(MUST) sports ground.
Local organisers Friends of Football handed the Stars the trophy after Fucam had hammered them 7-0 with the use of unregistered players.
It’s the first time this year that such incidents of cheating have cropped up in this year’s edition Friends of Football have a very strict policy that does not encourage such indiscipline.
Mbarara Stars for their efforts walked away with a trophy and 1.5 million as they await the grand Champions League final to be held on July 21 at a venue yet to be established.

Next destination will be the final regional qualifiers to be held this Saturday in Jinja.
