URA Football Club has acquired the latest signing in Paul “Latest” Nkata, as their new head coach, who has signed a two year deal with a option of renewing it before the period expires.

The Uganda U-20 national coach beat three candidates that included a Scottish national James Baird, who applied for the vacant job online together with Ireland based Tongai Dodo from Zimbabwe and journeyman coach Sam Timbe and Robert Kabuye.

 The tax collectors where satisified with Nkata’s creditenials stating the “Youth structure” plan and known youth setting of the former SC Villa coach was at the fore front of the club’s five year development plan went along way in influencing the last decision of the eight man panel.

Speaking to the club’s official website www.urafc.co.ug after the interview Nkata commended the friendly and cooperative nature of the club administration. The SC Villa soccer legend is known for building his former club’s youth structure and also working with youth players.
