DR Congo has the oldest and youngest players. Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC) goalie, Muteba Kidiaba Robert is the oldest player at the on going Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa. Muteba who made his international debut in 2002 and has played his club football for AS Saint-Luc in 2002 before joining TP Mazembe, will be celebrate his 37th birthday on 1st Feb 2013.
Zambia’s Joseph Musonda who also plays for Golden Arrows football club, follows Muteba Kidiaba with 35 years of age. The duo Islanders of Fernando Maria Neves and Walder Alves Souto Amado, Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast: Galatasary), Asrat Megersa (Ethiopia: EEPCO), and Kossia Agassa (Togo: Reims) are the other following players with 34 years each.
