URA FC (UG) Vs Coton Sport Garua (CAMR) – Namboole @4.00pm
(Game tied 0-0 on aggregate)
Fee: 5000 Kirussia (open stands), 10,000 Pavilion
Uganda’s representatives in the 2013 Orange Caf Champions League URA FC host Cameroon’s Coton Sport Garua in the return leg at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Saturday afternoon.
The tax collectors go into the game with knowledge that only a win will see them through to the next round after holding the Cameroonians to a barren draw in the first leg in Garua.
Coach Paul Nkata will miss the services of left fullback Lawrence Ssegawa (dislocated jaw) while Osama Farouk and Derrick Walulya will have to pass a late fitness test.
Good news though is the return of inspirational skipper Simeon Masaba who missed the first leg through injury. Midfielder Oscar Agaba is also available for selection after shaking off malaria that kept him out of the Uganda Cup win over Azam FC.
On the other hand, Coton Sport Coach Sebastian Desbare is optimistic his side has the ability to eliminate URA FC at their own back yard despite failing to score in Garua something he attributes to the goal keeper Allan Owiny.
“We can get the result we want here,” he told supersport.com, adding, “It’s not a problem that we drew at home although I’m more concerned about URA goalkeeper (Allan Owiny), who was outstanding in Garua.”
Back to URA FC, man of the match in the first leg Allan Owiny is expected to maintain his position between sticks with Masaba, Sam Mubiru, Sam Ssenkomi and Allan Munaaba marshalling the backline.
Fit again Oscar Agaba is expected to anchor the midfield with Owen Kasule, Moses Feni Ali and Yayo Lutimba completing the midfield quartet while Benson Ociti and Augustine Nsumba who had a good game in Garua leading the attack.
