Despite his hardwork and outstanding play, motivation and mobilization of fellow teammates on and off pitch, Kulubya Noordin’s Entebbe Parents was unlike on the nigh as the side could not meet ways of winning the Entebbe zone football championship played in the midweek.

An early goal from Bukenya Andrew put Kennedy SS in lead throughout the first but was later leveled by Amanyire Sam in the dying minutes of half of the goal-goal highly supported game.

FUFA grade 1 referee, Mulumba Eddie then was not left with any option other than taking the tied sides for penalty kick outs to determine the winner of the tournament that begun a fortnight time ago.

Kennedy SS side ended up 4-3 winners and claimed a full set of jersey, a trophy and 3 balls while the losing side walked home with a trophy and 2 balls courtesy of courtesy the Zones’ Management.

Both teams will represent the zone at District level where they will meet other 7 zones to determine the two schools that will represent Wakiso district at National level in Kabale come late May.

“We used defensive tactics and utilized our sole chance in the first half hence our wining”. Kennedy head coach Muwanika Paul said shortly after the game ending in their favor. His counterpart, Musoni Patrick claimed “My team wasn’t bad to the worst extent but luck was the unfortunate”. Both promised to represent the Zone ahead of better results.
