Former SC Villa winger Joseph Kabagambe is on the verge of making a return to professional football in Sudan after agreeing personal terms with Merrick Fasher.

The winger who spent last season at Kiira Young flew out of the country on Monday 20 and is in Khartoum at the moment.

“I am yet to sign a contract but personal terms have been agreed”, Kabagambe told Kawowo Sports online from Khartoum.

“Both clubs have agreed on the fee too”, he added.

If everything goes as planned, Kabagambe will sign a two year contract with the club making a second stint in Sudan after playing for Al-Nil Al-Hasahesa between 2010 and 2012.

Kabagambe is set to make his debut in the upcoming Cecafa Kagame Cup against Tanzania’s Simba SC in group A.

Kabagambe has in the past played for Horizon, SC Villa and Rwanda side Atraco FC.
