The 39th edition of the Uganda Cup reaches its peak this Sunday when Vipers SC take on SC Victoria in Masindi municipal stadium. Vipers SC eliminated defending champions (URA) in the semifinals while big spenders, SC Victoria University defeated Simba Football Club to book a place in the finals where the winner will represent Uganda in the CAF confederations cup.
The epic game expected to expose hidden talented players that cranes new boss, Sredejovic ‘Micho’ Milutin will spot will kicks off at 4pm shortly after a curtain raising game between FUFA eleven and Masindi ex-internationals.
The final game that is not only poised to commemorate the 50th African Union anniversary but also set to send Ziraba Muzafaru and Kitti Yahaya into retirement from active services. The final shall be officiated by Batte Denis, the FIFA and CAF referee, and assisted by Kitti Yahaya, Ssonko Mark, Ziraba Muzafaru while the set will be assessed by Kabwimukya George.
