**UPDATE** This match ended. Here is the match report

Senegal will be aiming to reclaim top seat in group J when they face Liberia in a game that may break Liberia’s hopes in Monrovia.

The Lions of Teranga dropped to second position on the log following Uganda’s Cranes 2-1 win over Angola in Kampala on Saturday afternoon and only victory can guide them to the position they have kept since day one of the qualifiers.

Nevertheless, they face a determined Lone Stars side that still has an opportunity to advance to the final stages of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers with two fixtures left and are yet to lose at home in the campaign.

Senegal were held 1-1 in their last qualifier in Angola last weekend, a disappointing result for them, while Liberia lost 1-0 in Uganda amid accusations of poor refereeing.

Liberia have never beaten Senegal in their 10 previous encounters, with six wins for the latter and four draws and thus remain favorites despite playing away.

In their most previous meeting, Senegal beat Liberia 3-1 in June last year.

The hosts will look to Patrick Wleah and Captain Anthony Laffor for inspiration while Senegal’s main hopes will lay on Papis Cisse.

Victory for Liberia will lift them to second on the table with seven points just one behind leaders of Uganda while maximum points for the Lions of Teranga lifts them above the Cranes on nine points. A draw implies Uganda remains top with Senegal, Liberia and Angola following in that order.
