Ahead of the must win tie against Senegal in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, Cranes Coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic is set to name his provisional squad for the game on Saturday 24.

The Serbian who is yet to lose a competitive game since replacing Bobby Williamson is not expected to make changes from the squads that defeated Liberia and Angola in June but one or two new faces may earn call ups.

Inside reports indicate that the former SC Villa and Amavubi tactician is set to include US based midfielder Mike Azira in the squad. The former SC Villa star is currently enjoying a good spell with USL Pro side Charleston Battery; a side he has helped qualify for the league’s play offs.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports indicate that the Cranes are planning to pitch camp in Istanbul, Turkey in preparation for the Senegal duel though Micho refused to reveal anything.

“There is nothing I can tell you now”, he told Kawowo Sports. “I will reveal everything in a press briefing tomorrow (Saturday)”, he confirmed.

Uganda faces Senegal in the ultimate group J game of the campaign at the Marrakesh stadium, Morocco on September 7.

Unlike The Lions of Teranga who will stay on course for Brazil if they avoid defeat, Cranes need maximum points to top the group.
