Eritrean referee Luelseghed Ghebremicheal will handle the CAF Champions League match between El Merreikh and KCC FC this Saturday in Sudan, while his Kenyan counterpart Davies Ogenche Omweno will be in charge of CS Don Bosco and Sports club Victoria University on the same weekend.

Luelseghed will be assisted by fellow countrymen Bertelemos Ghebretinsae and Mohammedbekit Amer as the first and second referees respectively.

Yemane Agebremedhin will be the four officials while with Libyan Mohamed Greimeda the match commissioner.

In Congo, Davies Ogenche Omweno, will work with fellow Kenyans Peter Ssabatia and Gilbert Cheruiyot as his assistants with Israel Mpaima the fourth official.

SCVU will be making its debut appearance on the continent. Victoria won the 2012/2013 Uganda cup last season to land the rights of playing in the CAF Confederations cup. While KCCA claimed the league title since 2008 to go back on the continent.  

Ugandan referees will also be on duty on the same weekend as Dennis Batte, Balikoowa Musa Ngobi Lee Okello and referee Alex Muhabi Nsulumbi will be in charge of Bobby Williamson’s Gor Mahia and Union Sportive de Bitam from Gabon in their Champions league tie.

Alex Muhabi Nsulumbi, Hussein Bugembe and Samuel Kayongo Mashood Ssali will be in the islands of Zanzibar for the KMKM FC encounter against Edebit SC of Ethiopia.
