The 2014 Uganda cup football draws have been conducted at FUFA house in Mengo on Wednesday morning.
In what looks like a must watch battle, Jinja sides, Jinja Municipal Council have been drawn to play nemesis Bul at the latter’s home.
Rwenzori big league side, Lweza will play KCC at Lugogo, while the tourney’s defending champion, Sports Club Victoria University will travel to Kyambogo University to face an unpredictable regional side, Hope Soana.
“It is a fair draw”, SCVU’s spokesman, Leone Ssenyange, who witnessed the draws remarked.
The FUFA competitions committee chairman, Ali Mwebe hailed the full draws as a complete success.
“We shall post the public with the tentative quarter final dates otherwise the draws have been a success”, Mwebe said.
All the 8 clubs’ officials were represented at the brief event. FUFA vice president, Darius Mugoye witnessed the draws.
Sports Club Victoria University is the tourney’s defending champion. The Uganda Cup is the oldest football competition in Uganda and this year, it drew a record 120 teams from across the country.

JMC Vs Bul – Jinja
KCC Vs Lweza – Lugogo
Wandegeya Vs URA – Kiteezi
Hope Soana Vs SCVU – Kyambogo
