Odur is yet to fully recover from an injury he suffered towards the end of the league in May while Jamal is away in Khartoum as he finalizes his move to El Merriekh.
“Odur did train on Sunday but then missed out of Monday after a recurrence of the same injury,” assistant coach Abdallah Mubiru told Kawowo Sports.
“As for Jamal, he was expected to link up with the team yesterday (Monday) but didn’t. I am not sure he is back in the country but can only confirm his participation in the Saturday game if trains with us this week which he is yet to do,” Mubiru added.
Besides, the U-20 assistant coach confirmed that there are no other worries in the camp and they just raring to go. He also stated that striker Herman Wasswa who leads the goal scoring charts in the competition with seven goals has been declared fit.
“Everybody is fine including Herman Wasswa who was unfit by the time we ended the league,” Mubiru stressed.
The Lugogo based side is expected to leave for Mbale on Friday morning and will be aiming for their first ever league and cup double in history come Saturday.
