Uganda Super League champions KCC F.C thumped Police Young 4-1 in a friendly game played on Tuesday morning at Lugogo stadium.
Goals from Brian Majwega, Ivan Ntege, Gadafi Kiwanuka and Derick Nsibambi were enough for the Kasasiro boys’ victory, while, Henry Wanyama scored from a spot to earn Police Young their only goal.
KCC F.C will play Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) in Uganda Cup final on Saturday 7th June at Mbale Municipal Stadium, whereas, Police young will face Mutungo F.C in Nakawa First Division finals where the winner will be promoted to Kampala Region league.
“It has been a great test for us ahead of our Uganda cup final this weekend” KCC head coach Gorge Best Nsimbe stressed shortly after the game.
The Lugogo based side is expected to leave for Mbale on Friday morning and will be aiming for their first ever league and cup double in history, come Saturday.
