Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) football club midfielder, Jackson Kibirige has revealed that the season long loan spell at Jinja Club, Bul Bidco f.c was merely a stepping stone for a great desired future.

“When I was loaned to Bul – Bidco, I knew my opportunities at SCVU and beyond were just in the pipeline”, Kibirige told Kawowo Sports in an exclusive interview.

Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) loaned Kibirige at the start of the 2013/14 season to Bul-Bidco.

While at Bul-Bidco, he featured in most of the team’s games and was inspirational in the team’s 6th place finish by the close of the regular season.

“Bul-Bidco has been my second home away from home. I was welcomed by fans, all players and the technical wing of the team”, Kibirige opens up from his rather shy shell.

His return to SCVU was blessing for the team as he scored 3 goals in the recently concluded CECAFA Nile Basin tourney held in Khartoum.

Infact, Kibirige was joint club’s top scorer alongside fellow midfielder, Muzamiru Mutyaba.

“Surely, life at Kakindu made me realize that I have to work hard so that I make an impact when I return to SCVU”, the former Butambala Ssaza player says.

Future Career Aspiration:

Like all sportsmen world over, the ultimate flight in the life’s career is to play professionally and Kibirige is not any different.

“You can never turn down any professional opportunity in life. My club will play a great role to see my career blossom”, Kibirige now adds, this time with a smile flashing across his face.

He further reveals that he is ready for competition at the star studded club that finished second in the regular season of the FUFA Super league.
