Uganda Cranes forward Emmanuel Okwi has denied reports of a move away from Tanzanian side Young Africans to Albania’s KF Tirana.
On Wednesday, reports indicated the ex-SC Villa and Simba SC striker had completed a move to KF Tirana and this was backed by the fact that his profile of Wikipedia also indicated the Albanian club as his new home but he came out to deny everything saying he is still a Young Africans player and currently training with Uganda Cranes ahead of the Equatorial Guinea tie.
“Reports that I’ve joined an Albanian club are false. I am still a player of Young Africans and currently training with the national team,” Okwi posted on his facebook timeline.
The striker also posted the same message on his twitter account.

Okwi joined Yanga SC in December 2013 a few months after playing for SC Villa following his disagreements with Tunisian giant club Etoile Du Sahel over alleged breach of contract as accused by both parties.
It took the intervention of the World Soccer governing body FIFA to end the debacle.
