13 days away to their first leg match, Mauritania head coach Patrice Neveu has selected nine local based players to start preparations at the beautiful Olympic Stadium in Nouakchott city.

Patrice who is at a visit to France (meeting French based professionals) handed the list to his assistant Pape Seck.

Pape will begin drilling the nine players on Sunday 6th at the pack before head coach and other professionals join the camp.

The local based list has Samb Ahmed Djiby, Wade Mamadou and Yacoube Fall from Nouadhibou Football Club.

Other players include danger man EL Moctar Hacen EL Ide, Niass Mamadou, Bakayoko Moussa (all from Asac Concorde FC), Souleymane brahim Diallo (Tevragh Zeina), SY Oumar Ibrahima (ASC Tidjikja) and Othmane Baba Aly Dit Guauché (ACS Ksar).

Uganda Cranes will not play Equatorial Guinea as earlier booked.

Instead, they will play Mauritania in the second preliminary round of the 2015 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers after CAF disqualified Equatorial Guinea in the race.

The West African nation had defeated Mauritania 3-1 on aggregate in the first round to set up a date with The Cranes but CAF found them guilty of fielding Thiery Fidieu Tazemeta, an ineligible player in their victory.
