Youthful Vipers SC forward Farouq Miya will start his first competitive game for The Cranes after Micho released his starting team for the tie 2015 AFCON qualifier against Mauritania which kicks off at 5.00pm at Namboole.
Miya has earned his place after gallant performances in the warm up games the team has played prior to the game.
The forward cum-midfielder netted four in five friendlies including the winner against Seychelles last Friday at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
He starts in central midfield alongside Gor Mahia FC midfielder Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito thus replaces suspended Aucho Khalid as one of the changes from the side that played Madagascar in the previous round.
Godfrey Walusimbi takes over from Brian Majwega at left back after serving a two match ban but skipper Andrew Mwesigwa, Isaac Isinde and Denis Iguma retain their places to complete the back four.
In attacking midfield, Moses Oloya and William Luwagga Kizito start while Geoffrey Massa and Brian Umony lead the hunt for goals.
Micho has made just three changes from the side that started against Madagascar in the 1-0 victory.
Cranes must win with a decent goal margin to stand a chance of finishing the job away in a fortnight.
The aggregate winner over two legs join group E which already has Ghana, Guinea and Togo.
