Stadia Olympic is set to host the return leg of the AFCON 2015 qualifier between home team, Mauritania against Uganda on Sunday, 3rd August 2014.
“We have received communication from Mauritania today confirming the return leg date as Sunday 3rd August 2014 at the Stadia Olympique” Edgar Watson is quoted on the Uganda football website.
Uganda Cranes resumed training at Namboole Stadium on Wednesday in the morning.
Apart from some of the professionals (Geofrey Massa, Godfrey Walusimbi, William Luwagga Kizito, Moses Oloya, Yunus Senatmu and goalie Onyango) who returned to their respective duty clubs, the rest trained.
Second goal scorer on Saturday, Brian Majwega sat out the morning session because he was not feeling well.
The team resumes training on Thursday morning (8 am) for a one hour session to allow the team members attend, Mariam Nambi’s burial at Mityana.
The late Nambi has been Cranes Assistant coach, Kefa Kisala’s mother who succumbed to death on Wednesday at Mulago Hospital.
