Kent Sports Academy (UGA) 3-0 Eidsvold TF (NOR)
Kent Sports Academy (KSA) won the 2014 U17 boy’s Dana cup on Friday at Hjørring Stadium in Denmark.
The Mike Mutyaba owned and Wankuluku based football academy beat Norwegian Eidsvold Fc 3-0 in finals.
The Ugandan team ended any Norwegian dream of winning class B17 at Dana Cup 2014 with two goals in two minutes.
In a game characterized by high intensity and few clear chances, the Africans had the most and best chances. With quick moves and fast passes, they pressured the Norwegians again and again.
Eidsvold fought bravely and played to win. Hence, the Norwegian boys kept running and pushed hard for an equaliser in the end, but they could not change the final outcome of the game.
It was the first time that KSA took part in this tournament, that began on 22nd of July with 1,021 teams from 45 nations globally.
