CAF U-17 Qualifier Results:

Rwanda 2 – 3 Uganda (Agg: Uganda 7 – 2 Rwanda)

Botswana 0 – 5 Zambia (Agg: Botswana 0 – 6 Zambia)

It is confirmed, Uganda Cubs will play Zambia on September 13th 2014 in the third and final round of the CAF U -17 Championship qualifier.

The confirmation follows the two nations’ away victories on Friday.

Uganda over came a resilient Rwanda 2 -3 to advance in Gasenyi city after a 6 – 2 on aggregate triumph.

On the other hand, Zambia walloped Botswana in Gaborone 5 – 0 to progress 6 – 0 on aggregate.

Uganda scored through Charles Ssebutinde, Julius Poloto and Muhammed ‘Jaggason’ Shaban while Rwanda’s two goals were a beautiful set of strikes from striker, Bigiraneza Richid.

At the UB stadium in Gaboronr City, Zambia took a 2-0 halftime lead through Enock Mwepu in the 29th minute and Pumulo Siwanga in the 40th minute.

Patson Daka then netted twice in the 82nd minute and in stoppage time before Garry Mwelwa added Zambia’s fifth goal shortly thereafter.

Zambia host Uganda on September 13 before travelling to Kampala for the final leg on September 27.

Zambia and Uganda both catch their maiden appearence at the CAF Under-17 tournament.

The Winner over the two legs will qualifier for next years finals in Niger.

The final tournament will be held from February 15 to March 1, 2015, with the semifinalists qualifying to represent the continent at the 2015 Fifa U-17 World Cup scheduled for Chile.
