The road to Niger 2015 in the Africa U-17 championship qualifiers continues this weekend with eleven fixtures lined up starting this Friday.

The Cubs of Uganda kick start the busy weekend with an away tie against Rwanda’s Junior Wasps in Gisenyi, Rubavu this Friday afternoon.

The Cubs carry a 4-0 lead to Rwanda following that flawless performance in the first leg two weeks ago and are favourites to advance with Zambia and Botswana who face off on Saturday waiting at the third qualifying round.

Zambia will have to avoid defeat in Gaborone to advance after a 1-0 victory in the first leg in Lusaka.

Neighbours Tanzania pay a courtesy visit to South Africa searching for a score draw at worst to reach the next round after a barren draw in the first leg played in Dar es Salaam a fortnight back.

Other CECAFA representatives Ethiopia visit Gabon in the same situation as Tanzania after drawing goalless in the first leg.

In other fixtures, Togo visits Senegal Burkina Faso is at home to Cameroon, Angola hosts neighbours Mozambique, Nigeria entertains DR Congo at home, Congo Brazzaville is at home to Egypt, and Mali faces Benin while Morocco hosts Guinea.

The aggregate winners qualify for the third round from which the winners reach the finals to be hosted in Nigeria next year.

Meanwhile, Tunisia, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire qualified for the third qualifying round following the withdraw of Sierra Leone, South Sudan and Libya respectively
