The buzz around basketball circles is back. Thanks to the highly anticipated 2014 FUBA – CastleLite AllStars presented by Just Kip Livin (JKL) that has been officially launched today at the Sky Lounge in Kisementi.
The one day fun event is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 22 at the MTN Arena in Lugogo. JKL’s Gad Eteu is delighted with the work done in terms of organization and promised to present a great event.
“We are happy with the work done so far and we are looking forward to a wonderful event” he said at the launch.
FUBA and JKL have partnered with Nile Breweries through their CastleLite Brand who have sunk in 20 Million, City Oil who have provided 5 Million, trophies and other equipment, Pepsi and Roko Telekom who shall provide free Wi-Fi at the event.
Patrick Ogwel, FUBA’s VP Administartion expressed his gratitude to the organizers and sponsors of the event.
“It is an important event to create the momentum in Basketball. We partnered with JKL to create a vibrant growth for the game” he remarked. “We are happy Castle Lite to join the All Star as they are our partners for the (NBL) playoffs as well as other sponsors of this event” Ogwel added.
The AllStar event is jointly organized by JKL, Basketball 256, Ivory Media, Sky Lounge, NBS TIPOFF and Talent Africa who will provide entertainment for the day. Talent Africa’s Ali Alibhai vowed to bring life to the Allstar gala.
