Azam FC skipper John Rafael Bocco was a happy man after leading his side to a 4-0 victory Zanzibar’s KMKM. Bocco netted a double and assisted one in a one sided game played at Amahoro stadium.

“It was a fantastic performance from the team today,” Bocco told Kawowo Sports. “We played according to coach’s instruction and thank God we got the win,” he added.

On his own performance, the Azam number 19 said that as a forward, its important to score goals but added that all that matters is victory for the team. “Of course getting on the score sheet is always fantastic for a striker in terms of contribution and confidence building but what matters most is what the team achieves,” Bocco explained. On how far he thinks his side will go in the tourney, Bocco said all they target is the championship.
