Entebbe based golfer Willy Deus Kitata, is playing in his final game in Europe today at the Augsburg Classic that is being played at the Bobingen-Burgwalden Golf Club Augsburg, Germany.

The tournament is a Pro-Am tournament on the PGA tour of Germany that has attracted amateurs and professionals from Germany and other parts of Europe.

It’s was the national player’s third tournament that he was playing in having played at the Praforst pro golf tour in Germany and most recently in the Lotos Polish Open in Poland.

“It has been going well for me and I have gained the experience which will go a long way in making me a better golfer,” Kitata said on the phone over the weekend. “I find it very important for me to experience different tournaments and golf courses because in the long run it gives enough exposure.”

Kitata is expected to be included on the national team ahead of the East African Challenge that is expected to be held from August 26-28 at the par 71 Entebbe club and the Tusker Malt Uganda Open that will be held September 1-6 at the Uganda Golf Club.
