Ethiopian Premier league giants, Electricity football club have invited Ugandan footballer, Manco Kawesa for trials.

“Kawesa was invited for trials at Electricity f.c and should he succeed, he will sign a deal with the club”, the player’s agent confirmed to Kawowo Sports on Tuesday.

Ever since being released by Sports Club Victoria University in the 2012/13 season, Kawesa has not played any competitive football.

The midfield maestro has a remarkable work rate with good ball distribution skills. Should Kawesa successfully progress, he stands to join two other Ugandans- Robert Odongkara and Isaac Isinde in Ethiopia.

The duo feature for record champions, St George football club.

Other Ugandans who have played in Ethiopia include, Hannington Kalyesubula, Hassan Wasswa, Denis Onyango, Mike Sserumaga, Anthony Bangole, Sula ‘Malouda’ Matovu among others.
