Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has released a strong 25 man provisional squad that will immediately start preparations for the two group stage Nations cup qualifier matches due next month.
The Serb announced the names today in a weekly FUFA press conference in Mengo, Kampala.
The Cranes who start training on Monday will play Ghana on 6th September in Kumasi and four days later against Guinea at Namboole stadium.
The players include; Denis Onyango, Geoffrey Massa, Moses Oloya and Yunus Sentamu who missed the tie against Maurutania (due to club engagements) have been named.
Portugal based Alex Kakuba (Estouria FC), Martin Kiiza (Tusker FC) and goalkeeper Brian Bwete (Muhorini Youth) have also made it to the list.
On the other side Emma Okwi (Yang Fc), Joseph Ochaya (Asante Kotoko) and Daniel Serunkuma are missing from the squad.
