Uganda and Kenya share the lead at the East African Golf Challenge that is taking place at the par 71 Entebbe Club going into the decisive day tomorrow.
Uganda started the day by claiming two wins in the foursomes in the morning and drawing their other game ending the morning session with 3 and half points while Rwanda ended the with 3 points with day one leaders Kenya getting 2 and half points.
Team Uganda won three games in the 4 ball better ball in the afternoon with Kenya also win the same number of games Tanzania, Rwanda with 2 apiece while Ethiopia and Burundi have 1 point each.
“Tomorrow when shall play a strategic game us we want to maintain our cool and winning this tournament on our own turf,” Amos Kamya, coach of Team Uganda said. “I believe we shall have the nerve to maintain our composure on the final round.”
Tomorrow’s action will see the final round of singles games and the longest drive competition.
