Afcon qualifiers Group E

GHANA Vs Uganda –Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi

Ahead of their highly anticipated clash with Ghana, Uganda Cranes have set off this Sunday evening for Kumasi.

The Cranes left Entebbe International Airport at 6pm aboard Ethiopian Airlines but will have a stopover in Niamey, Niger where they will play the home team in an international friendly on Tuesday.

The team led by Darius Mogoye has two goal keepers, six defenders and midfielders plus four strikers.

Notable absentees from the team are midfielder Brian Majwega who has been left out due to injury and striker Geoffrey Massa whose club will only release him on Wednesday thus the technical team decided to leave him out of the engagement but will be available for the match against Guinea on September 10 at Namboole.
