Cranes coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has handed SC Victoria University defender Savio Kabugo a surprise start against Ghana in the group E tie scheduled to kick off at 7.00pm in Baba Yara stadium.
Kabugo starts alongside skipper Andrew Mwesigwa at the heart of defence with Isaac Isinde; Mwesigwa usual partner settling for a place on the bench.
Besides, no other changes in defence with Denis Iguma and Godfrey Walusimbi starting at right and left fullback respectively while Denis Onyango starts in goal. In midfield, Micho opts for Baba Kizito, Tonny Mawejje and Aucho Khalid as the three men in the centre of the pack but Moses Oloya and William Luwagga also offer numbers when required to join Brian Umony; the lone forward upfront when in possession.
