Week 2 Pepsi Beach Soccer league:

Selected Result: MUBS 9 – 7 Stormers

Makerere University Business School (MUBS) ran rout as they humiliated Stormers during one of the 8 games played at during the second week at the pepsi national beach soccer league in Entebbe.

One player, for obvious reasons who left the Lido beach sand pitch most excited was MUBS’s left footed striker, Baker Lukooya.

The diminutive tricky forward single handedly scored 6 times in his team’s 9 -7 massacre of Stormers – the only fixture with most goals scored.

The other goals came off a beautifully executed hat trick from Lukooya’s partner in crime, Brian Nkuubi.

MUBS now top the moonson group following 2 victories in 2 fixtures.

There were 7 other fixtures played on Sunday as Nkumba Select suffered a slim 5 -6 defeat to St Lawrence while Real Galacticos were 7 – 1 victors over Talented in a fixture where last season’s MVP, John Ravita notched a hat-trick.

The league is organised by Uganda Beach Soccer Association and sponsored by Pepsi.
