Uganda Vs Guinea – (7.30PM in UGANDA, 4:30PM in GUINEA) at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole

Guinea skipper Kamil Zayatte is confident his side will beat Uganda Cranes at Namboole stadium come Wednesday September 10 in a group E 2015 AFCON qualifiers.

Guinea top the group with three points following a 2-1 win over Togo in their opening game and Zayatte says they want to keep the momentum.

“We are here to win the game. We started well against Togo and so we need to continue with the form we showed,” Zayate told Kawowo Sports after his team’s training session at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

Asked what he thinks of group E and his side’s chances of progression to the finals in Morocco, the former Hull City player admitted h knows less about Uganda.

“We’ve played against Ghana and we know Togo but its Uganda we don’t know much but we treat all teams in the same way,” he said.

Zayate however admitted that Uganda is a strong team based on their performance against Ghana in which The Cranes were denied maximum points thanks to a dubious penalty decision which Andre Ayew converted to make it 1-1.

“We didn’t watch the game because we were travelling but we know they are good and strong team. However, we shall do everything possible to win the game.”
