Uganda U-17 head coach, Matia Lule has finally named a team of 18 youngsters that will travel tomorrow (Wednesday) for the CAF 2015 Africa Youth Championship qualifier against Zambia at the Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

With the exception of team skipper, Andrew Isiagi, the rest of the players who traveled to Rwanda last month are all on the traveling contingent.

The team comprises 2 goal keepers, 3 central defensive and full backs, 5 midfielders (3 central and 2 wingers) and 4 strikers.

The youngest player, Ezra Bidda from Koboko is part the squad which departs Wednesday morning at Entebbe International Airport.

Uganda Cubs have been camping at Njeru Technical center, and played 5 build up games – winning 4 and losing 1 against a FUFA Super league side, Bul football club (from Jinja).

The team, which will play Zambia on Friday, has accumulated a total of 25 goals scored against 4 conceded in the buildup trial games.

The game will be handled by Mehdi Gervais Munyanziza from Rwanda.
