SC Victoria University boss Simo Dubajic has quashed reports the club has been sold to former SC Villa manager Tusher Ruparellia.

The news of the club’s sale had been revealed in The Redpepper but Simo says all that is false.

“All the reports about the club being sold is false,” Simo told Kawowo Sports in an exclusive interview. “We don’t intend to sale the club at any price,” he added.

Simo however revealed that he is searching for partners to join hands with in improving and developing the club beyond where it is but he is yet to get anything.

“What is in place at the moment is the search for a partner who we are yet to get. Not even Tusher who has been reported in the media to have bought it.”

With further reports that the Serb was looking to invest in the Kenya Premier League (KPL), Simo insisted he has no such plans.

“Why shift from Uganda where there is more talent to Kenya? I have invested lots of money in the club and my target is to see it compete at the highest level in Africa plus offer route to players to professional careers with Europe the biggest target.”

Dubaijic acquired the club on August 19, 2011 while in FUFA Big League and saw the club earn promotion to the top tier league.

Runners up in the FSL last season, the club won the Uganda Cup trophy in their first season in top tier division only to lose to DR Congo’s CS Don Bosco in the Orange CAF Confederations Cup.
