2011 URA FC signing, Said Kyeyune will wear the club’s arm band this season. The 20-year-old has been picked to replace Simeon Massa and will be deputized by goal keeper Brian Bwete.

“This is a big responsibility but I have the confidence of these players which I think will make my work easy,” Kyeyune told the club website.

“I have been a captain before with Seeta United and Misindye, so leading players is not new to me at all,” he added.

The Gayaza based club opens up the 2014/15 Uganda Premier League (UPL) today against Bright Stars at Lugazi grounds.

“The opening game is always important but we have prepared well and we are eager to win every match,” Kyeyune told urafc.co.ug before adding that “We will not go in there thinking they are an easy opponent. We intend to do our best and win”.

The tie will be handled by FUFA referee Ali Bakisula. The Busoga based referee will be assisted by Erias Kaggwa as the first assistant while Jackson Busingye will serve as the second assistant. David Musisi Matovu will be the fourth official while Ajab Waiswa will be the match commissioner.
