The course was carefully designed with the expertise of Allan Fredrickson, a renowned designer of championship courses in the UK and USA.

“The Course is in great shape and expect the best golf at this year’s independence tourney”, Palm Valley Club pro, Geofrey Mande told Kawowo Sports on Monday.

“The tournament comes on the day that holds a special place in the hearts of both Ugandan golfers and Ugandans generally. Therefore, we are very pleased that we shall make Ugandans cherish the moment now,” Tibayeita added.

Last year, Tanzania’s Angel Eaton won the ladies title while Don Gorman emerged the overall winner in the men’s category.
