Wednesday October 8, 2014, Soana FC vs Simba SC

Kavumba Recreation Ground, Kick Off: 4.30PM

Soana FC and Simba SC; two struggling teams in the Uganda Premier League (UPL) face off on Wednesday 8, at Kavumba Recreation ground with each playing for maximum points.

The hosts are win-less in their opening three fixtures and have only one draw to show in the campaign.

“We need to arrest the rot starting with the game against Simba,” Soana FC right back Misi Katende told Kawowo Sports. “We lost so many crucial players from last season but that can’t be an excuse. We need to start winning games now if we are to meet our target,” he stressed.

Unlike Soana FC, Simba SC boast of one win but that only came on the opening day of the campaign against Entebbe FC. Since then, the army side has lost three consecutive fixtures on the trot; 1-0 to Vipers, Lweza FC and Bul. FC.

Soana FC is languishing in relegation zone in 14th place while Simba SC lies 11th with 3 points
