Now that the international break is off, the Uganda Premier League returns with five fixtures at various venues.

The big one sees Express FC take on SC Villa away in Mityana whilst KCC FC pays a visit to newcomers Sadolin Paints in Bugembe.

SC Villa Vs Express FC – Ssaza Ground, Mityana

Gone are the days when such games would bring the country to a standstill but nevertheless, it remains a big fixture in Ugandan football.

Besides the rivalry between the two sides, coach Sam Ssimbwa, now at SC Villa returns to haunt the side that he helped win the 2011/12 title; their first in 18 years.

SC Villa come into the game as favourites having won 3 of their 4 fixtures so far but know that Express FC in whichever form they may be, will be a hard knack to crack.

The hosts will look to Karim Ndugwa, Steven Bengo and Hassan Wasswa for inspiration whilst The Red Eagles coached by Wasswa Bbosa and former player Hassan Mubiru will rely on Simon Sserunkuma and Willy Kavuma if they are to leave Mityana with victory.

SC Villa sit second on the table with 9 points while Express FC are 5th just two points behind the Blues.

KEY STAT: SC Villa has 100% record at home but Express FC is yet to lose on the road winning 2 out of 2 including one in Mityana against Rwenshama KJT FC.

Sadolin Paints FC Vs KCC FC – Bugembe, Jinja

The Champions will still be without midfielder Tom Masiko (injury), Brian Umony and Brian Majwega (fatigue) for the game while loan signing Richard Kasagga may make his league debut for the club.

Coach George Nsimbe is expected to task forwards Herman Wasswa, Derrick Nsibambi, Michael Birungi and Wadri William to look for much needed goals.

KCC FC lies 10th on the log with 4 points from two games while Sadolin Paints FC is 13th with two points from 4 fixtures.

KEY STAT: KCC FC won their previous away game 3-0 against Rwenshama FC while Sadolin were 1-0 losers to Express FC in their last home game.

Vipers SC Vs Lweza FC – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku

The battle for Wakiso supremacy will be on at Wankulukuku when neighbours Lweza FC and Vipers SC face off.

Lweza has former Vipers SC players Ayub Kisaliita and Mike Sserumaga who are ready to haunt their former employers.

The two sides share same points 6 but Vipers SC are above in 6th position on goal difference though they have played two games less.

KEY STAT: Vipers SC is yet to score more than one goal in a game in this campaign while Lweza FC scored 3 in their last game at Wankulukuku.

Kira Young FC Vs Rwenshama FC – Mandela National stadium, Namboole

Kira Young FC will seek to return to winning ways when they host bottom placed Rwenshama FC at Namboole.

The Paul Nkata coached charges have not a won game since their convincing 2-0 victory over Express FC on the opening day while Rwenshama FC are winless in all their three fixtures.

KEY STAT: Rwenshama FC have not a won a game in the league this season while Kira Young have won just once.

Entebbe FC Vs Soana FC – Nakivubo stadium

Both sides have started on a low note winning none of their opening four fixtures and will seek to pick maximum points from this fixture.
