Entebbe 1 – 0 Soana

Sadolin 1 – 0 KCC

Entebbe F.C and Sadolin F.C picked up their first victories of the 2014/15 Uganda Premier League season.

Former Mbale Heroes, Kinyara,Ruhinda and SC Villa striker, Alosious Lubega won the day for Entebbe F.C  with a 22nd minute goal over another struggling side, Soana at Nakivubo Stadium.

Entebbe F.C, like Soana had not won any game since the league started, both sides having picked their point from SCVU.

The biggest shock of the day was registered at Bugembe Stadium in Jinja when the reigning champion, Kampala City Council football club succumbed to Umar Ngobi’s strike 26 minutes down the clock.

The victories elevate Sadolin and Entebbe football clubs to the 11th and 13th positions on the 16 team log whereas KCC is pushed 12th with just 4 points picked from 3 outings.

In the other results on the day, Rwenshama picked their season point of the season – thanks to that hard fought draw against Kira Young at Namboole Stadium.

Mike Katende shot the league debubtants in the lead, 5 minutes after the game restart for the second half and the hosts needed a late – late Moses Ndaula equalizer, with 3 minutes to full time to make amends.

Rwenshama remains glued at the bottom of the 16 team standings while Kira Young is 9th with 5 points off 4 games played.

The Uganda Premier League resumes Saturday with 3 fixtures.

Bright Stars host Police F.C at Lugogo in a battle of seeking for the table leadership rights.

 Army side, Simba football club entertains Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) at the Bombo military stadium while Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) hosts Jinja side, Bul F.C at Namboole Stadium.
