URA FC Vs SC VU – Lugazi @4.30pm

Five times league champions Uganda Revenue Authority SC host SC Victoria University at Mehta Grounds, Lugazi looking for their first victory of the campaign.

The tax collectors have gone four fixtures without victory piling more pressure on Alex Isabirye who replaced Paul Nkata at the start of the season.

Nkata was sacked for failure to win the league despite guiding the club to Uganda Cup glory thus Isabirye knows what his employers expect of him.

URA FC will be without suspended forward Emmanuel Ngama or the duel. The striker was sent off in the club’s 2-2 draw with Simba SC on Saturday.

In his absence, Erukana Nkugwa; scorer of a brace against Simba together with Robert Ssentongo and James Kasibante will be tasked to lead the hunt or goals.

Meanwhile, SC Victoria University are also struggling for form having won just once in their opening four games.

The University side’s only win came on the opening day of the season and have since then been involved in three goalless fixtures.

“We’re doing well at the back but it’s upfront that we are yet to click. It’s something we’ve worked on fantastically in training and hope the lads put away chances we create soon starting with the game in Lugazi,” SCVU tactician told Kawowo Sports.

Ceaser Sapeo, Brian Toraach and Mathew Odong will be tasked with the hunt for the much needed goals.
