Match 4 Days: Thurs, 23rd, Sat, 25th & Sun, 26th Oct 2014

Uganda’s second tier football competition, The FUFA Big League resumes Thursday with 13 fixtures combined in both the Rwenzori and Elgon groups.

The Elgon group will feature 7 of these games with 6 others in the Rwenzori group.
So far, a total of 38 FUFA Big league matches have been played with 79 goals registered — Rwenzori group contributing 44 of the goals scored.

In some of the highly billed fixtures in the Elgon group games will be played on Thursday as Wandegeya F.C will be hosting Kireka United F.C at the Kiteezi play grounds.

On Saturday, Mutundwe Lions F.C, who have so far missed two games without any valid reason (skipped home opener with Synergy and failed to travel to Masindi last week against VCC F.C ) will be expected to host the on-form Maroons Football club.

Other Elgon games will see Artland K host Proline at Taibah high school grounds on Entebbe road, Synergy plays Kirinya Jinja S.S at the Masaka recreational stadium meanwhile Busia United F.C entertains Masaka L.C.

The Rwenzori group will not be left out of action with the 6 games on card. On Thursday, Namasagali football club will be playing host to Ngora Freda Carr at the Namasagali college play grounds in Kamuli district.

At the Barokoro Zombo stadium, home team, Paidha Black Angels will entertain poor travelers, Ndejje University.
The Luwero based University lost several key players including Yunus Luwagga to FUFA super league side, Lweza F.C.

Highlight of Week 4:

The biggest of the match day 4 of the FUFA Big league will be played on Saturday at Namboole National Stadium.
An unbeaten The Saints F.C side, coached by Mark Twinamatisko play host to arch rivals, Baza Holdings football club.

James Odoch is at the helm of Baza Holdings after former coach, Frank Video Anyau was sacked by the club manager, Bahir ‘Mando’ Kamanzi.

Coming into the game, The Saints have won all their opening 3 games whilst Baza Holdings dropped points at their Nakivubo home last Thursday in the embarrassing 1 all draw against Lira side, Sporting United.

Other Rwenzori Games:
Hope Doves will taste their new home ground (Wankulukuku stadium) with a date against Soroti Garage.
After winning 0–1 away from home at the ever intimidating CRO stadium last week, Water F.C is set to host Kumi United at the Mengo secondary school play grounds.

After this game, Water F.C will embark on the northern Uganda route to play Paidha Black Angels at the Barokoro Zombo play grounds on Sunday.

The other Sunday game will be between Kabale’s Cream land and Kireka United at the Kabale stadium.
