Why Through Golf?
Tezra Lutaaya, the founder of Philly Lutaaya Cares (PLC) reasons that golf presents the best option to fundraise and raise awareness about the HIV/AIDS problem.

Proceeds will go to the construction of a vocational center in Kanoni Gomba, the ancestral home of the late Philly Lutaaya, who died in 1989. Lutaaya left a legacy as being the first African public figure to openly declare his HIV status.

This year alone, several fundraising campaigns have been held through the Golf sport by the Uganda Golf Union.
From the Tunaweza event, Isingiro Hospital concept machine purchase to the breast cancer golf fundraising tourneys, Golf has helped the society realize the respective needs.
